Kristin La Hoop
Nuria Luna Llena
Nuria is hooping since 9 yers and startet her journey 9 years ago, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
For all these years she has been performing and sharing workshops at Circus Schools and Circus Conventions all over Argentina, Chile, Paraguay , Uruguay, Spain, Catalunya and Italy, and co-organized the 1st Hula Hoop Convention in Argentina, helping to grow the Hoop Community in her country.
From 2018 she has been part of several Contemporary Circus and Escenic Laboratories/ Residences. She studied Pedagogy applied to Circus and also became a facilitator of HULA HOOP INTEGRAL and FUNTIONAL JUGGLING.
During the pandemic Nuria continued sharing her knowledge virtually all over the word and became part of the exceptional teaching staff of the jugglers virtual training camp: Gravity Allies (Aliadxs de la Gravedad).
Her Hula Hoop knowledge was mostly self-taught but also took classes and workshops with great worldwide Hula Hoop references.
Her main goal is to open doors to infinity and the multiple possibilities to make everybody feel the power of creating through and with hoops.
Passionate by flow arts, Loren discovers juggling at the age of 18 in Paris. In parallel of her studies she practices poïs, fire dancing and performs with a few companies.
In 2007 she discovers hooping without knowing she was stepping into a ring that was going to change her life. She begins to teach hoopDance in 2013 and launch the first hoop fitness classes in Paris one year later with the HoopTonic® program. Passionate and convinced by the benefits of hooping for body and mind, she began a professional retraining to make the teaching of Hula-hoop her full time job as becoming a fitness instructor. Since 2015 she manages the first french hoop school, Hoopera, where she teaches, performs and organises events. Besides she also manages the Pin-Hoop, a HoopDance troupe based in Paris.
She loves to travel around Europe in conventions and retreats to teach and get inspired by connecting to the hooping community.
Techniques include a variety of different behind the back & under arm tosses, offering different levels of complexity for beginner/intermediate and advanced hoopers, starting with the basics and then looking at a load of variations, transitions & combos from these moves.
This workshop will help you incorporate these fun techniques into your hooping and learn ways to flow or transition out them of them.
